Undergraduate: full-time – 3 years (6 semesters), extramural - 3
years (6 semesters)

Graduates will have basic knowledge of social sciences, human rights and
principles of functioning of a state (system, power division, structure, tasks
and principles of functioning of state authorities, including situation and role
of the public administration and other institutions in charge of internal
security). They will know legal bases governing areas related to the internal
security and will acquire knowledge related to the national security system,
emergency management system and issues involving different types of crime,
including terrorism. They will be able to identify, process, analyse and use
knowledge and information related to negative individual and social behaviours
being a potential source of threat.

Examples of areas of employment:
Graduates will be prepared to work in the public administration with emphasis on
organisational units of state and local authorities in charge of the internal
security (Police, Internal Security Agency, Border Guards, Government Protection
Bureau, City Guard).
Graduates will be prepared to start the second degree studies at
the same or related faculty (e.g. Administration).
