The problem of addictions is becoming more and more widely discusses publicly.
The discussions
regarding the reasons and background of the occurrence of addictions leads to a
necessity of searching for the methods of help and treatment of the addicts.
Therefore, the need of employing specialists ready to provide the help and
assistance to those addicted is highly required these days.

The example areas of employment:
The graduate is professionally prepared to undertake a job in which he/she is
entitled to conduct individual, group or family therapy of the addicts in the
institutions and clinics of addictions as well as the specialistic divisions for
those addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and other harmful substances. The
knowledge and skills gained throughout the studies, enable the graduate to work
as a counsellor counselling the addicts in terms of the causes of addictions and
the possibility to undertake relevant therapy.
