The Higher School
OF THE UNIVERSAL EDUCATION IN WARSAW
The idea of founding our school appeared in the 90’s, in the environment of
Warsaw’s activists of adult education. They referred to the heritage of Wolna
Wszechnica and its mission to expand popular and accessible knowledge.
THE FIRST INAUGURATION of the new Higher School took place on 1 October, 2001.
Among the first wave there were 360 students who were guided by the best tutors.
In the beginning, the HIGHER SCHOOL offered two specializations: territorial
self-government administration and pedagogy.
THROUGHT THE YEARS, there was a rapid growth in the development of Wszechnica
Polska. Nowadays, the school accommodates more than 3.000 students participating
at Bachelor and Post-Diploma Studies. Among the school’s students there are
students from various countries and cultural backgrounds.

WSZECHNICA POLSKA uses the most Innovative methods and techniques of teaching.
Both students and tutors have a wide access to the school’s library equipped
with a catalogue with numerous titles.
THE SCHOOLS’ AMBITION and MISSION is not only to spread knowledge but also to upbring young people so that they can become active citizens ready to improve
and modernize the quality and conditions of their country’s life.
